Experiments in Infusion part 2

The last time we attempted to infuse liquor we wound up with delicious peppermint vanilla martinis and horrible hangovers.

We should have learned out lesson.

Our second experiment actually went much more smoothly than our first. Our formula of mixing simple syrup with a infused everclear worked especially well, despite robbing the Vanilla/cinnamon of it's delicious color.

Cracking these open after almost two months of brewing led to some pretty serious ethanol fume-related issues. We had to take a break.
Our extremely precise measuring techniques were a fairly accurate reenactment of the fountain scene from Die Hard 3.

The Bogwater Peppermint is easily the most flavorful, which is contrasted nicely by it's disgusting color.
The Armada. From left to right, we have Vanilla Peppermint Liquer, Bogwater Peppermint Liquer, Raindeer Cool Mint (vanilla/peppermint made with extracts instead of original beans and leaves), Specimen Liqueur (Vanilla/cinnamon - so named because it appears to be a giant spider floating in formaldehyde), and Vanilla Peppermint Vodka.
